His opinions have been sought out by major investment houses and consulting firms. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University.

Matt is a skilled and effective instructor in physics, computer science, business, and mathematics. Matt has taught courses in the natural sciences and mathematics from the basics to the advanced, more philosophical and ethical considerations in science and research. Matt combines his fifteen years of part-time college instruction with over twenty-five years in industry.

Matt is skilled in both in person and virtual environments. His training clients include Trek, Ericsson, US Dept of Defense, Kraft, Verizon, and others. Matt currently teaches at UW Madison College of Engineering, and has taught at DePaul University, DeVry, Harold Washington College/City Colleges of Chicago, Herzing University, and Lakeland University, and Madison College.
