I am a veteran, certified teacher with over 25 years of experience teaching in a public school system. My experience includes teaching at the kindergarten, third and sixth grade levels. I have also tutored at the high school level. In addition to my teaching experience, I am also a mother which has given me a parent's perspective on their child's learning.
At the elementary level, I have taught reading/language arts, science, math, spelling, and social studies. At the middle school level I have taught reading/language arts, social studies, english, and Read 180.
My base rate is $65 an hour for an in person lesson, and $50 an hour for an online meeting. I am happy to provide a free initial consultation meeting and answer any questions you may have. During the summer months, I am generally available 9AM to 7PM. When school resumes, i will be available during evening hours.
