I am a certified high school science teacher with a master's degree in organic chemistry and an undergraduate degree in chemistry and history. I pursued subspecializations in biology and historiography. I love science and the humanities equally, and my prime passions are English literature and human anatomy and physiology, though I did not major in either of these disciplines! I have spent the past decade tutoring elementary and middle school mathematics and science in addition to my full-time job. I strive to incorporate my broad range of interdisciplinary knowledge into the classroom to engage students of all learning orientations! I was personally homeschooled, attended a small undergraduate institution and a large graduate program, and have taught at small private schools and large high schools alike. This spectrum of experiences has allowed me to hone teaching skills and explore alternative learning methods to ensure that I provide my students with the best experience possible. I am very patient and my favorite teacher skill is my ability to explain concepts in a multitude of different ways. I am committed to doing everything in my power to provide understanding of the concept and make it memorable as well!
