About Joshua

Bio

I currently am a Middle School Math Teacher in the Public School System. I hold a B.A. from Brandeis University in Massachusetts and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of South Florida for Mathematics. At 13 I first took the SAT and received a 770 in Math. Four years later I took the SAT again and received a perfect 800 in Math. At the age of 14 I took the SAT II Math IC and received a 790. At the age of 15 I took the SAT II Math IIC and received a 800. I also scored a 5...

I have a desire to help others and will work hard to improve the scores and knowledge of students. It's not just about showing a student how to do a problem but to make sure the student understands how to do it in the future.

Great Tutor

After one month of weekly tutoring with Josh, my daughter brought her Geometry grade from an F to a B. During that time she took two rather difficult tests at school and earned 95% on both tests. Not only does she have a better comprehension of the material which Josh has reviewed with her, she actually stated that she now likes math. Words I thought I would never hear from her mouth. Josh is patient and thorough within his tutoring sessions, and we are very fortunate to have found him.
