I am passionate and excited about helping students reach their academic goals. Student success can be achieved with proper preparation that includes sound guidance from tutors. I am highly skilled in the art of writing and have successfully taught every mode of writing. Throughout my teaching and coaching career, I have assisted countless students with their writing. And by doing so, have received tremendous praise from colleagues, parents, and students for my strong teaching abilities.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students from middle school grades through college. I have also assisted professionals with their writing. Writing is a vital skill in every career and is an essential part of becoming a successful person both personally and professionally. Much of my teaching experience has been at the college level. I have taught students how to compose everything from narrative essays to cover letters; and of course, I have taught student how to effectively write research papers. In fact, many of my students are surprised by how easily writing can be with the guidance that I provide.

After graduating from Emory University, I received my Master’s in the Art of Teaching English from Agnes Scott College; and during my first years of teaching, I was awarded with a full scholarship to attend the Educational Leadership Program at Harvard University. I have also been asked to speak publicly to groups such as The Atlanta Chamber of Congress on effective teaching strategies. Furthermore, Agnes Scott chose me to instruct their teaching candidates how to be effective in the classroom.

I take a personalized interest in the success of my students and use different teaching strategies to address the differentiated learning needs of each individual student. It is my belief that all students can learn and become confident in doing so when given encouraging and helpful guidance. I have helped struggling students evolve into thriving scholars.
