Everyone thinks differently, and I quickly adapt to my student's perspective. I focus on not just prescribing a recipe of steps to memorize, but instead providing a deeper intuition of mathematical concepts, which puts the student on more solid bedrock for future learning.
I earned my B.S. in mathematics at the University of Rochester, being awarded Highest Distinction in Mathematics (3.97 gpa). I have my M.S. from Purdue University, and am currently enrolled in a math PhD program at CUNY Graduate Center. I passed all 3 PhD qualifying exams upon entry, which by many are considered to be the most advanced math exams you can take.
