I am a college graduate with a degree in History. I am also a aw school graduate with a Juris Doctor degree. I have practiced law for over 42 years, but I am currently semi-retired. Before I attended law school, I taught school for two years. Among other things, I taught English, History, Reading and Math to sixth graders. Over my 42 years of law practice I have become an accomplished word-smith. I can write clear and persuasive prose and I can teach that skill to my tutees. I shall teach the principal requirements of plain English style with an emphasis on the rules of usage and principles of composition. My tutees will learn to write using the active voice, to put statements in positive form and to omit needless words.
I am an outstanding tutor because I understand what it takes to write and teach how to write clear, proper English.
