Hello! I am Dion A. S., Esq., and I am the most experienced law tutor in the United States. I have a J.D. from the Washington College of Law of American University and an LL.M. from the Georgetown University Law Center. I have worked in legal education since 1990, and in 1998 it became my full-time job and the sole focus of my career. Helping people understand the law and giving them the skills they need to succeed is the most gratifying way I have found to use my law degrees. I have written over a dozen widely acclaimed books on the bar exam and I have made hundreds of law students into lawyers.
The first year of law school is an incredible challenge. I know all of the First-Year subjects inside and out - Contracts, Torts, Real Property, Civil Procedure, Constitutional law, Criminal law, Criminal Procedure, and Evidence. I have made all of these subjects clear to hundreds of clients and I can do the same for you. The heart of my approach is application. I have hundreds of examples to go over in both essay and multiple choice format. I can train you to think and write like a lawyer, and this will be reflected in your grades. I make sure that you are working smart as well as working hard.
I have extensive experience working with people who have English as a Second Language (ESL) and learning disabilities, e.g., ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, etc. My clients have clerked at the U.S. Supreme Court, hold high positions in government, and are partners at major law firms.
Students and parents are always free to contact me - I promise a prompt response!
We can meet in person if you are in the Washington, DC area, or remotely. Groups of two are also welcome.
