I moved to Pa 7 years ago with 16 years experience teaching preschool through second grade in public school systems. I have owned opened and owned my own preschool here in Pa and worked as an assistant in an autistic support classroom.

I have an incredible passion for working with children and their families. I love to guide children to gain confidence and the ability to succeed with all curriculums. I am aware of Pa common core and I have pursued graduate level classes as well as working in the public schools to maintain current knowledge for all children.

I believe all children should feel successful in school and work with strengths to build confidence. I am patient, passionate and structured while working with students of all abilities. I have tutored and taught children from ages 3-9 and they have all gained confidence and met the individual goals.

I am able to research online opportunities and I am familiar with PA core standards. My experience as a public school teacher allowed me to complete a graduate level course for math remediation techniques for preschool through second grade.

You need to be extremely patient, calm and very structured. It is important to have routine. It is important to build on strengths while challenging the comfort zone. Familiarity with technological programs for children with limited Verbal communication is important. You must be aware of the students strengths and personal interests to build trust and connections.

I want learning to be fun even while I challenge! We need to exit a comfort zone in order to grow. I want my students to feel safe and confident as they grow. I am willing to guarantee my experience and passion will help a children at an elementary level. I love reading and writing, and I bring experience with modified and accelerated programs for math ( K-4).
