Lidia is a great teacher who is very involved with the tutoring process. In the first meeting she'll want to know where your Mandarin skills are at and where you are interested in progressing to. After this you will have a great teacher who is providing you with a completely customized class. I've been studying Mandarin for almost 3 years and have passed the HSK level 5. One thing that is hard to find with a Chinese teacher is someone who is willing to persistently correct your mistakes (especially in speaking). Finding a teacher who will do this is ESSENTIAL for proper development of your Mandarin ability. Lidia not only does this, but does so in a constructive and kind manner. I could not be happier with her as my tutor and I would recommend her to anyone interested in personally tailored learning experience.

Lidia is an awesome tutor. She explains things in a way that is easy to understand and makes Chinese seem way less intimidating. She is patient and gives me time to correct my mistakes instead of jumping right in to correct me immediately. She is also constructive with her corrections and feedback. The Best Tutor

Lidia is an excellent tutor and we feel so lucky to have found her. My daughter is in 7th grade and taking Mandarin at school. Unfortunately, due to Covid and distance learning we have noticed her confidence and grade is suffering and she needs more support. Our first meeting online with Lidia put my daughters nerves at ease. Lidia is patient, kind, and so supportive during my daughters lessons twice a week. Lidia makes learning fun and my daughter loves their time together. After each lesson I love receiving the lessons summery along with test messages of recordings to practice with the workbook for homework. fantastic tutor- very engaging with little kids

Lidia has been incredible with our child. We moved home from China and Lidia has been providing 3x per week lessons (1 hr each) for our 5 year old. She finds fun games, has lots of ideas, and my daughter loves it! This was happening in person and now online during covid. She has done similar with our 2 yr old. We highly recommend Lidia.
