In addition to academic achievement inside the classroom, I was a distinguished undergraduate researcher at The University of Texas at Austin. I received course credit for my work developing a novel prosthetic ankle for lower limb amputees in the Neuromuscular Biomechanics Laboratory in the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering.
I tutored during the 19-20 school year until the national shutdown in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I took teaching back up in the spring of 2023 by working as a substitute teacher for the Austin Independent School District. I love to teach, and I am committed to the academic success of others.
