Hello! My name is Evangelos, and I am a third-year pediatric resident at Inova Children's!

Throughout my academic years, I have taught thousands of students in the classroom as a teacher assistant in general biology and organic chemistry and more one-on-one through my ten years of private tutoring experience/daily during my workday with resident/medical students.

During my undergraduate years, I discovered my passion for teaching as a teacher's assistant in general biology and organic chemistry. Initially, I focused on formal teaching, including curriculum development and classroom lectures. Over time, I expanded into group exam review sessions and one-on-one tutoring.

I have completed a bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors, obtained a medical doctorate, and now am in my pediatric residency.

I have experience with being a:
-Teacher's Assistant for General Biology for two years
-Teacher's Assistant for Organic Chemistry for two years
-Serving as my Medical School gross Anatomy Tutor/Intern for two years
-Awarded Resident Teacher of the Year and finally
-Over ten years of tutoring experience in topics including biology, chemistry, and test preparation for the MCAT and USMLE exams

I honed my skills in simplifying complex concepts for students! I am flexible and will adjust to your needs; I can perform formal lectures with PowerPoint, problem-based learning with questions/problems, and any other learning style you have! I am highly adaptable!

I am passionate about education, and I am eager to share this knowledge in the above subjects to assist in educating students in the sciences.
