Hello! I'm Jordan, a high school graduate who will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Management and Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University next year. I have been coding for 5 years and have professional experience developing games and web applications. I took both AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles and got scores of 5 on both exams. Over my high school experience, I tutored peers in AP Computer Science classes and created educational YouTube videos revolving around backend and game development, garnering over 90,000 views!

I like to approach tutoring computer science subjects by starting from the ground up - making sure my student has a strong understanding of the fundamentals that they can use to decipher the complex problems they will have to approach. I always want to make sure my students understand how to utilize the abundance of simple computer science concepts in dynamic ways, so they have an entry-point into every question as well as a means of double-checking each solution they come up with.

I also like to tutor in a way that opens up my students’ eyes to the real world applications and possibilities of the subjects they are learning. Having coded professionally and having explored so many different coding languages and frameworks, I have a solid grasp of how different AP Computer Science subjects present themselves in relevant, innovative, and rapidly-evolving technologies.
