Welcome! I specialize in Latin, Writing, Humanities and Religion. This includes writing, grammar, literature, classical studies, and philosophy/ theology.

I am passionate about tutoring and helping my students achieve their goals and fullest potential. I have been a tutor for several years, and have also taught for several years. I have taught Middle School Spanish, High School Writing and Literature, university level Introduction to Philosophy, and university level Theological Ethics. These experiences allow me to break down complex topics that feel overwhelming to students and communicate them in simple, memorable ways. One of the things I love most about teaching is seeing a student grasp a topic for the first time and 'aha!' moment.

I am a PhD Candidate in Philosophical Theology at the University of St. Andrews. St. Andrews is ranked #1 in the UK by the Guardian University Guide, 2023. I also hold a masters degree from the University of St Andrews, and completed graduate coursework in Philosophy from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor's degree in Humanities. I am also fluent in Spanish. Having lived in El Salvador for a year and taught middle school Spanish, I will give you essential help to achieve your conversational, written, and academic goals. I have also tutored Latin for several years and regularly read and translates Classical and Medieval Latin texts for my doctoral studies. In my spare time, I enjoy coffee, chess, and casual walks with family.

An avid reader, I taught High School literature and Writing for a year. I had around 150 students for the whole year! I taught my students how to read and interpret literature critically, write historical and literary analysis papers, grasp and utilize essential research skills, and more!
