I am an experienced teacher licensed in Social Studies, Mathematics, Language Arts, Earth Science, and Drama who enjoys tutoring a variety of subjects. After working as both a high school teacher as well as a tutoring for two well-known national supplemental education corporations, I have learned that there is no substitute for intensive, hands-on interactive and collaborative learning when it comes to achieving academic success. As a professionally trained actor, I also appreciate the reality that students are much more likely to be engaged in lessons and other activities when they are enjoying themselves and having fun. To achieve that end, I employ a lively, energetic approach when tutoring. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing students become successful in their academic endeavors.

I look forward to the opportunity to help your child become a more successful student!

Patient and engaging tutor who recognized my daughter's problems with Algebra 2.

Todd tutored my daughter after a couple of dismal quiz scores showed she was ill prepared for Algebra 2. She came into the tutoring session frightened, stressed, and unable to concentrate on even simple concepts. Todd was non-threatening, kind, and patient. His manner and approach were calming. He explained the concepts in a manner she found easy to comprehend. He identified her pattern of errors and after two lessons, she felt calm and more confident.

Todd was very easy to work with and spent time reviewing my son’s work to be sure he would be prepared for his upcoming test. We very much appreciated his quick reply and accommodating the very last minute request. Thank you!!
