About Kacie

Bio

I've tutored regularly for seven years in all levels of math, english, and science. I also have experience working with study skills in professional setting. In January 2016 to May 2016, I co-taught a college-level study skills course. Along with this, I used to lead an ACT study group where three of the four people went up by four points on their ACT score. Since then, I have had the chance to tutor several people in the ACT that have had their composite score go up by at least two points....

I've tutored regularly for seven years in all levels of math, english, and science. I also have experience working with study skills in professional setting. In January 2016 to May 2016, I co-taught a college-level study skills course. Along with this, I used to lead an ACT study group where three of the four people went up by four points on their ACT score. Since then, I have had the chance to tutor several people in the ACT that have had their composite score go up by at least two points. I scored a composite of 28 on my own ACT: 33 in English, 26 in Mathematics, 30 in Reading, and a 22 in Science. I now am a college senior in Biology and will graduate December 2018. I can back up any of the above credentials. I've never had a student that seriously wanted to learn and improve that did not with a little help and some explanations provided. As a side note, I generally believe in an award system for middle school and elementary children (such as a candy bowl).

So thankful for your help!

My 15 year old son was in a horrible accident and missed over a month of school. Even being a great student we were struggling with the makeup work and exams as well as staying current with each of his Freshman courses. Kacie tutored my son in both Algebra and Biology. We also had her do a overview study session for his Algebra final for semester I. He has aced every test she prepared him for and we have officially caught back up right before Christmas break & finals. We will definitely use Kacie again if he ever needs help again or even study sessions for exams and finals! WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR YOU AND YOUR HELP! Thank you for bringing us back to some sort of normalcy after us 2 having several horrible months! We can’t thank you enough!!
