HI! My name is Aaron (my students call me "Mr. T.") and I am currently a band director with over 20 years of experience. I have spent most of that time as a middle school director, but have also spent time in high school as an assistant and head band director. I am an experienced and successful concert, jazz and marching director integrating music theory and history into my curriculum. During this time I have tutored students from my own programs as well as outside music programs. I attended the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville on a full scholarship for trumpet and am currently finishing up a Masters Degree in Music Education at Missouri State University.

My specialty is brass pedagogy which includes trumpet, horn and low brass with students who I have helped reach both district and all-state levels. I also have continued experience with music recording and production with the use of multi-track software such as Garage Band and Audacity. As a band director, music theory instruction is a constant for both my concert and jazz students.

I teach in a very methodical, step-by-step fashion with attention to detail and achievement while closely paying attention to the needs and goals of my students.
