Hi!, I'm T! I'm a medical student at the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine. I went from scoring a 509 on the MCAT to scoring 526 (100th percentile) in less than six weeks of study, and I firmly believe anyone can do the same if they learn the optimal strategy for each section.

If you're reading my profile, you probably have a general idea of what content to learn, how to structure your time, and what makes the MCAT different from other tests you've taken...

If you're reading my profile, you probably have a general idea of what content to learn, how to structure your time, and what makes the MCAT different from other tests you've taken before. However, you've never had someone break down how to choose between the two seemingly correct answer choices in every CARS question; you've never heard that you can learn all the organic chemistry you need for test day in an afternoon; you've never been taught how to glance at a physics passage and immediately know what principle they're testing.

Why?

Because I am the only MCAT coach who knows how to teach these strategies.

No other tutor can quickly and efficiently teach the optimal way to approach each passage. MCAT tutors often encourage you to learn the same way they did: practice like mad until you happen to stumble onto these approaches on your own. That often works, but why not save yourself the time and effort?

The results speak for themselves: my students average a 15-point increase in their scores with only 5-10 hours of instruction spread across 6-12 weeks of study. I increased my score by 17 points in only 6 weeks; by using my proven techniques, anyone can see a similar improvement.

I offer every student a trial lesson, where I teach the critical strategy that undergirds all the others. That's right: I give away my most powerful strategy for free because I believe that everyone should have access to these strategies without having to waste time grinding practice problems to gain them. If you're interested, shoot me a message and let's find a time to meet!

Excellent, Knowledgeable, and Patient tutor!

T is an amazing tutor. He always makes sure that everything is clear and understandable. He explains topics in different ways so students are always ready for any question they will be asked on the MCAT. I have learned a lot about MCAT since having T as my tutor. He taught me several strategies and approaches which helped me develop my reasoning ability to tackle the MCAT. He ensures I have the correct reasoning for my answers by going through my practice questions and explaining them well. He made me feel confident in my ability to achieve my goal. In addition, he is the most caring, motivating, encouraging, and understanding tutor. I highly recommend T to anyone who wants to achieve their goal.

Very patient and willing to accommodate

Before T, I've tried out a few different MCAT tutors but he was by far the best one I had. He is willing to go above and beyond to target the areas you specifically need. When I was approaching my exam date he was amazing about scheduling lessons on short notice to make sure I got all of the information I needed for test day. I was especially weak in physics and he tailored several lessons in that topic and was even very patient with me when I did not understand some concepts so easily. He even gave me several tips and resources for dealing with exam day stress. I would highly recommend him, especially if you have been struggling with finding the right resources for the MCAT for a long time as I was when I started tutoring with him. I raised my score to a 95th percentile score! Good luck to everyone taking this exam.

Effective and Intelligent Tutoring

I have only excellent things to say about Peterson and his teaching. He is one of the most efficient and effective tutors I've worked with, and I'm certain his approach to MCAT preparation will maximize my scoring potential. He has an exceptionally robust knowledge base both in content review and testing strategy 11/10 tutor, I strongly recommend Peterson for MCAT prep. He is worth every cent of his time.

Best. Tutor. Ever.

By far the best tutor I have ever had the good fortune to come across and I am so thankful to have him as my tutor. He is insanely bright and intelligent, yet can explain concepts in the clearest and most straight-forward way. In writing this review, I was given three prompts and I would like to go through each: What has Peterson taught me? My answer would be what has he not taught me. Peterson is so much more than just a subject-based tutor. Not only has he given me an invaluable skill-set to tackle the arduous MCAT, but he has also given me insight on how to navigate the treacherous seas of the medical school application process in general. What do I like about Peterson's tutoring? Everything. Peterson embodies everything one would want in a tutor because he is a kind and compassionate individual. He realizes that students are still people and that we are more than our academic endeavors. Life has a funny way of interfering in the best laid plans, and not only does Peterson understand that, he truly cares and wants to help students balance life with studies in any and every capacity that he can. What has he helped me accomplish? When I first signed on with Peterson, I thought he would just be helping me with studying for the MCAT. I could have not been more wrong. This guy single-handedly got me through the primary application process and for that I am so grateful. He has also given me the encouragement I've needed when I am feeling down and has been encouraging at every step of this process. Regardless of where you are/what you need help with, Peterson will ensure your personal success; I promise he will deliver tenfold!
