Hello!

My name is Maria M. and I am a bilingual teacher at Kipp Public Schools. I have tutoring experience with all ages and specifically specialise in English (Reading, Writing, Grammar, Public Speaking) and Spanish tutoring. I recently moved to Houston from Cleveland, OH and cannot wait to start tutoring again!

English is my second favorite subject (behind Spanish) and was always my favorite subject in school when I was a student. I love helping my students grow a love and appreciation for the subject and the language. I am very motivated to help my students improve their English - I love to share both their successes and their failures!

Spanish is my first favorite subject and was always my favorite subject in school when I was a student - so much so that I decided to major in Spanish (also Psychology) in college. Spanish is NOT my first language, however, I am fluent in Spanish and am in love with both the language and the different Spanish cultures. I love sharing my passion for Spanish with my students and also sharing in their achievements as they work to succeed wherever they are on your journey :)
