I have been teaching computer science, primarily Data Structures and Algorithms, at the college level for over 40 years. I have programmed extensively over that period of time in many languages, including Java, Python, C, C++. I enjoy working with students at many levels, teaching and supervising projects. I have also worked as a consultant, building and using software systems. I worked at IBM Research for 19 years building scientific software systems to solve mathematical problems, design networks, and test software. I thus have experience programming and using programs to solve real world problems.

I have developed and taught in many settings, full time, part time, as an adjunct, face to face, and online. I have developed and taught courses in data structures, algorithms, and Java. I have supervised student projects at the undergraduate, graduate and PhD levels. I have also tutored high school and college students

I am currently retired and focus on building software and teaching people to use it. I enjoy working together with students, teaching them, working alongside them,, and learning from them . My main interest is to work with undergraduate, and graduate college taking courses in Java and working on projects. It is also possible for me to work with highly motivated high school students. I am especially interested in guiding students in projects they are developing.
