Greetings, my name is Colin D., I am a graduate of Coastal Carolina University with a degree in Middle Level Education. I am currently a 6th grade science teacher but I hold a South Carolina teaching license in Science and Math for grades 5 through 9. I was a private tutor throughout my high school career and was tutor for both Horry Georgetown Technical College and Coastal Carolina during my post-secondary education.

The thing I love just about teaching is helping my students grow and succeed. I have always planned on being a teacher, ever since I was young. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with students and helping them make it their own. Outside of education I was also a soccer player and wrestler in addition to a member of the National Honor Society. I participated in our school's varsity club, which is essentially a student leadership club, and find joy in mentoring students.

I am certified by the South Carolina Board of Education to teach math and aside from that I genuinely enjoy mathematics. I like to share knowledge with students and help them synthesize their own understanding of content.
