I tutor to ensure that the future of cyber security and computer science have the most well-prepared professionals of the next generation. Cyber Security is a relatively new field and courses and instructional materials available for interested students are lacking to say the least. I hope that my experience in the field of computer science and cyber security will give those aspiring to join me in this industry the best chance to do so.

I am currently a penetration tester and red teamer based out of Amsterdam in The Netherlands. Previously, I was a Cryptologic Warfare Officer for the US Navy and conducted offensive cyber operations for USCYBERCOMMAND and the National Security Agency (NSA). I started tutoring as a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy as part of a student-run group study program, where I tutored my peers in computer programming, networks, and cyber security. After graduation, I moved to tutoring a local high school teacher so that he could effectively teach a new cyber security class offered at the school. I then went on to graduate school at the Naval Postgraduate School where I continued to tutor while I earned my masters in Computer Science. While at the Naval Postgraduate School, I traveled to Europe numerous times to assist the US Department of Defense instructors in teaching a class to NATO officers on cyber security.

I have experience with the following college-level courses: programming languages, computer architecture, networks, object-oriented programming, natural language processing, theory of computing, systems programming, advanced cyber vulnerability assessment, reverse engineering, and cyber exploitation. I am proficient in: C, C++, x86, Java, HTML, Javascript, Python, php, bash, and more. I have achieved the following certifications: CEH, Network+, Security+, and OSCP. I am available to help prepare for these certification exams—especially OSCP. I also am available to help prepare for job interviews for a Penetration Tester or Red Team position.
