I have had the privilege of working in the education field for 13 years. I have worked in three district but have been in my current position as a 4th and 5th grade classroom teacher for almost 11 years. Other than my own children, I've never tutored privately but teaching is my passion and I have always been able to reach children, to move them and make them learn no matter what their learning styles are.

I love to see the look in a child's eyes, that moment when understanding is reached. From my experience, I know that the more you understand a child as an individual and the more you understand how he or she learn, the more success you will see. Also positive reinforcement and a strong soo port usually encourage a learner to push harder. Hopefully, I'll get the opportunity to make you experience what I'm talking about.

I understand the common cor standard, I love teaching and working with children and students learn from me. I have a masters degree in elementary education and a sixth year degree in education administration.
