I have over a decade of professional engineering experience and always appreciate my opportunities to coach, mentor, and teach others. I have had the opportunity to guest lecture in a number of school settings, as well as create and teach courses in the corporate setting, and I believe that everyone can learn the foundations of math if given the right opportunities and support network. I have also worked as a YMCA day camp counselor and director, and have an appreciation for the diversity of student engagement and learning approaches. I demonstrate patience and a sense of humor, and I tie concepts to real-world applications using references related to the people I am working with. I find that combination helps to create a more effective learning environment.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, and I have 3 U.S. Patents. I have a Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Boston University, as well as a number of professional certifications in the field of Mechanical Engineering. I've spent most of my career working on the design and manufacturing of complicated machines, and I always find that the most complicated problems are derived from the fundamentals of math. That is why I have a strong belief in supporting STEM education and development for our future generations.
