About Kelly

Bio

I am a passionate and energetic teacher for students of all ages. My goal is to create enjoyable, engaging lessons. I use music, video, audio, and games to keep learning English fun. I have been teaching for more than 20 years. I began teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) in 2006 while living in Rome Italy. I have a Master's degree in Education, Specialization in TESOL, acquired from USF. Achievements include Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Fraternities, USF...

I am a passionate and energetic teacher for students of all ages. My goal is to create enjoyable, engaging lessons. I use music, video, audio, and games to keep learning English fun. I have been teaching for more than 20 years. I began teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) in 2006 while living in Rome Italy. I have a Master's degree in Education, Specialization in TESOL, acquired from USF. Achievements include Phi Theta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Fraternities, USF Graduate Student Success Fellowship, and a Kreplick Scholarship recipient.

I worked for the US DoD, Defense Language Institute, English Language Center (DLIELC). While there, I developed the curriculum for the Field Studies Program, the Classroom on wheels. I also acted as an Adult Learning Advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME), Deputy Project Manager, and was a team member of proposal authoring.
I DO have a Bachelor's in Business, topping off an already healthy business acumen that included NASD and SEC Financial Securities, Real Estate license, and Insurance sales licensing.
