Looking for help with science or writing? I've been tutoring science subjects and writing for fifteen years. I've tutored at universities in New York, Tacoma, Tucson, and Nashville, as well as privately, online, and through the National Science Foundation. In the past I have also done advising for freshman science majors, run science workshops for young teens, and worked in ecology and marine biology labs. Looking for help with science or writing? I've been tutoring science subjects and writing for fifteen years. I've tutored at universities in New York, Tacoma, Tucson, and Nashville, as well as privately, online, and through the National Science Foundation. In the past I have also done advising for freshman science majors, run science workshops for young teens, and worked in ecology and marine biology labs. Science is my passion and I have experience with most fields of biology and marine science (my main areas of expertise being ecology, oceanography, marine biology, AP biology, and genetics).

I'm also a college counselor and have experience guiding students through the application process. My writing and editing experience help me work with students to craft college essays and personal statements. I can also help with transferring, locating campus resources, and general mentoring--especially for science majors (but I can help with any major).

I have a lot of experience tutoring online so am willing to work with students if online tutoring is preferred. I have completed tutor training courses for CRLA certification so I know how to properly structure lessons and adapt teaching styles. I have experience working with students with learning differences.

Twelve hours notice is required for cancellations. Otherwise, a cancellation fee of $25 will apply.
