I am able to tutor developmental courses in English as well as college level English courses. I currently teach as an adjunct in Philosophy and Humanities at a community college in the Midwest. I hold a Master's of Arts in Philosophy from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale Illinois.

I have successfully taught and tutored Introduction to Philosophy. Western Religion is another course I have taught. I have taught challenge of Technology and Humanities which emphasizes what it means to be human in a post modern world. I have also taught Search for Utopia classes to first and second year college students for the past twenty years.

I have a special interest in helping people with disabilities. I have finished all the course work for the counselor training program from SIU-C, which among other important functions helps college students with disabilities find employment. I am physically challenged. I was born with Cerebral Palsy. A condition caused by anoxia at birth. I now use a power chair to get around at home and work. I live successfully on my own. I am engaged to be married sometime next year.
