Based in Central Virginia, I am a 2017 graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, where I studied Ancient Greek, Latin, and Government & Foreign Affairs (B.A). In 2020, I earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Virginia. From 2014–2017, I tutored undergraduates in the ancient languages as well as rhetoric and English composition.
Since earning my undergraduate degree, I have worked as an administrator at Hampden-Sydney College with expertise in college student development; I have volunteered as an academic advisor, a club advisor, and living-learning community leader. One of the great pleasures of my day-to-day role is having the opportunity to interact with students and engage in enlightening, meaningful conversations that encourage critical thinking and intellectual growth.
In my spare time, I can be found fly fishing around the many streams and rivers of Virginia, playing guitar, or practicing calligraphy.
