Hi! My name is Alex - I'm here to help you achieve your musical goals! Music Composition and Theory are important skills for all musicians, as they help you gain a deeper understanding of the music you're playing, writing, or listening to. Whether you're a hobbyist, student, or practicing musician, these lessons will help you grow as an artist.

I received my Undergraduate degree from Butler University, and my Master's from the University of South Florida, both in Music Composition. I'm qualified to teach general composition, including songwriting and jazz, as well as music theory and aural skills. As a teaching assistant for collegiate-level music theory, I can also tutor high schoolers looking to major in music, or those in college who need a little extra help.
