My first tutoring experience happened when I was ten. Every day after school, I would go to the library and teach five other girls in my class how to draw. I've always had fun explaining and sharing my techniques in the arts, and it's always rewarding to see the smiles on the faces of students who have discovered something new!
While at Chico State, I had a Music For Children class. In this course I constructed my own lesson plans and executed them with 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. Additionally, I was a tutor for students taking Chinese 101. I Feel that I've been successful in teaching all ages that I have encountered thus far.

During my time at Chico State, I took four semesters of Mandarin; up to the highest level available at the university. I was one of three students over two years that challenged themselves to take the highest level of Mandarin. I succeeded in Chinese 101, 102, 201, and 202 with As and Bs. I also worked weekly with Chinese 101 students as a tutor, working on vocabulary, tone, and sentence structure.

Having graduated with a Bachelor's in the Humanities, it was required of me to write many, many research papers, essays, and abstracts. I have excelled in proofreading my own works as well as the writings of fellow students, with little to no correction from professors.

I have been drawing since the moment I could hold a pencil. I have sold drawings to classmates in elementary and middle school, been specifically assigned various art projects by teachers and staff for school functions, and attended Innerspark's CSSSA Art program at Cal Arts at the age of 15. I have created and sold my own work on Etsy. I consistently draw and create on my own time and have experience in clay, pencil and charcoal sketching, acrylics, oil pastels, beadwork, wire, and mixed media.
