I grew up in a small town out in the Rowe Mesa here in New Mexico. I was a tinker by nature and loved taking things apart to find out how they worked. I successfully built a working canon at age thirteen and made water into a fuel that could be used to power cars. My first job was a blacksmith at a local iron art shop and my dad was a jeweler. With these types of influences I was deeply called into engineering.

I enrolled into ITT-Technical Institute in 2003 and was immediately recruited to work for Boeing in 2007. I Worked the D.O.D with Boeing Aerospace for two years as a scientist for a laser test facility. I joined the army in 2010 and taught technical survival and special skills to U.S. Army soldiers. I am a former college professor for science technology engineering, and math. I also had the privilege to host summer Space and STEM camps. I enjoy seeing people learn through their passions.

Through my college professor journey I discovered I have a unique and effective secret for teaching math that prevents it from becoming boring. I programmed my own math software to create unique problem flows that effectively increased knowledge in both the college setting and general education settings.

As a scientist I am aware of the hardships and real world requirements that exist that tend to be undermined in casual education courses. My degree in is in electronics and this was not an easy knowledge to pass on. My emphasis is in the art of "projects" which I believe is the one discovery that conventional education has not yet realized. It is through projects that the student truly learns and grasps the science as not some mundane facts that must be crammed before a test. My method of utilizing the natural creativity a student has as the medium for learning is tested and proven by increasing the pass rate of a rigorous science course from 20% to a blazing 80%. This is discovery of teaching this is my passion and my drive to a student's success.
