Bio

Hello, I am an experienced tutor and an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan. I scored a 1560 on the SAT (770 Reading/Writing, 790 Math) and a 35 on the ACT (36 English, 36 Math, 36 Reading, 33 Science). I am also a National Merit Scholar who achieved a 99th percentile score on the PSAT.

Hello, I am an experienced tutor and an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan. I scored a 1560 on the SAT (770 Reading/Writing, 790 Math) and a 35 on the ACT (36 English, 36 Math, 36 Reading, 33 Science). I am also a National Merit Scholar who achieved a 99th percentile score on the PSAT.

I am highly familiar with the format of the the ACT and SAT, so I have developed section-specific strategies to help students improve their score rapidly and perform well on these exams under time constraints. The vast majority of my past students have achieved a 80+ point improvement on the SAT or a 3+ point improvement on the ACT.

I have a strong foundation in high school mathematics which allows me to explain concepts in a clear and concise manner. As a part of my math tutoring method, I create individual lesson plans which either introduce new material or supplement classwork to build content mastery. I believe that anyone can learn math confidently with the right approach.
