I'm a recent graduate from BGSU with my Master's in biology. I've worked in a water quality lab for two years and I've worked in a genetics lab as an undergrad. I've taught three lab courses at BGSU main campus; biol 2040, biol 1010, and biol 4250. As a teacher I know what college level courses will expect for students. I've also had a chance to see how real teachers and other TAs do their grading and the standards they expect. I've tutored students from my classes before and I feel certain I can help with almost any question in the realm of biology.

I've just completed my Master's in biology, with a focus on microbiology and water quality in particular. I've previously studied in a genetics lab and have three published papers in the Drosophila Information Services journal for genetics. For my undergraduate career my minor was chemistry, which gives me a substantial background in the biochemical area. I've mostly taken a personal interest in botany; I garden and I am an avid hiker and camper and I take an identification guide with me when I go!

I've been a student for a long time and recently I've also got to experience teaching as well for three different BGSU biology courses. There shouldn't be anything I can't help with in the biology field, and I would love to help answer questions about science.
