My name is Austin. I am currently a second year student at University of California, Irvine majoring in biological sciences. I am on the Dean’s List. I have been tutoring middle school and high school students since high school. I am also doing peer tutoring in college. I have tutored a variety of classes like Algebra 1 Honors, Algebra 2/Trigonometry Honors, Precalculus, Social Studies, high school and college Biology, and college Chemistry. In high school, I received the AP Scholar with Distinction Award from College Board after achieving several scores of 5 on AP exams in subjects like AP Calculus AB, AP Human Geography and AP United States History. I also earned a Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and was part of the National Honor Society.
Tutoring has always been my passion. While tutoring, I help students improve on their grades, skills, and understanding of the subjects with clear communication, patience, and kindness. Before each session, I always ask my tutees the topics they need help on and prepare the session based on what they requested. During the session, I provide step-by-step methods and explain each step thoroughly with examples. Also, I make practice problems so that my tutees can study and reflect what we went over.
Feel free to contact me anytime and I look forward to working with you.
