Hello, I am a certified teacher with a Texas and Oregon endorsement in Special Education (early childhood to grade 12) and the core subjects: math, science, social studies, English Language Arts, and reading (grades 4-8). I have three years of formal teaching experience in all middle school classroom settings, including inclusion, resource, and self-contained. My favorite subjects to tutor are English, reading, and math. I love seeing my students succeed and helping them achieve their maximum potential.

I am familiar with and comfortable tutoring students of all ability levels. Specific areas of experience with special needs students include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, visual impairment, intellectual disability, speech impairment, learning disability, traumatic brain injury, and other health impairments.

Great reading teacher!!

My daughters really enjoyed the on line lessons with her! She found my daughters’ weakness on reading fast on the first lesson and made teaching plans for them . She also wrote down my daughter’s interests and tried to design the lesson for them. She is very organized and patient! We look forward having more reading lessons with her !
