About Peggy

Bio

I have been working with students for 30 years. I have taught early childhood through college. Currently, I am a high school counselor. My most recent teaching experience was with 5-12th graders. I taught Psychology at the college level for 20 years. I can help you gain the study skills you need and help you understand the concepts.

I can also help your child read. Reading is an important skill and should be enjoyable! I believe the key to teaching reading is in sharing the joy....

I have am a WA State certified teacher in early childhood, elementary, and 4-12 Psychology. I have a Bachelor degree in Psychology. I have a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling. I have a Master's degree in Psychology.

I am the parent of two young adults and understand concerns from the perspective of the parent, the teacher, student, and counselor.

Peggy holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Education, Counseling and Guidance and a master’s degree in Psychology. She has worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Family Academic Liaison, Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor, and as a Counselor in private practice. She taught preschool, kindergarten, college courses and substituted everything in between. At the college level she has taught a variety of courses including Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Sociology, Marriage and Family, and Lifespan Developmental Psychology.
