I am a licensed teacher in Virginia and North Carolina. I have been teaching, K-8. General and Special education students for 13 years. My experience includes working in the public and private schools as well as homeschooling other families’ children.

Licensed special Ed. Teacher. I have worked with many children in and out of the classroom that are ADD/ADHD. Each child is unique on the amount of breaks they need, hands-on learning, listening. Occupational therapists have provided me with good tools to help them work better (balls to sit on, bubble mats on chairs, stress balls etc.). Some of these techniques work better for some than others. Motivation and determining what a child likes has helped me in the past.
