Having been highly unsatisfied with my Personal Statement essay, and knowing I had 3 more days until the application deadline, I came on wyzant, hoping for a miracle. I now realize that I couldn’t have hired a better tutor. He addressed all of my worries. Mr Kevin is an incredibly knowledgeable and efficient tutor - he helped me transform my blunt, and disorganized essay into one that successfully describes the student in the best way possible! In a way, that I myself, ironically, couldn’t have. Not only did he give me substantial feedback on my essay, but he told me where to improve, and helped me refine the structure of my essay, making it flow much better than it use to. Every minute of my lesson with Mr Kevin was used efficiently - he gets rights to the heart of what needs to be done. Throughout the lesson, I knew I was talking to someone very experienced and knowledgeable, who knows exactly what he’s talking about. His brilliant suggestions helped me refine my essay so much, that I am no longer stressed with the applications process. On the contrary, I’m looking forward to it- that’s the impact that lessons with Mr Kevin have had on me. I am more than happy with the outcome of the final version of my essay. It is also worthwhile to mention, that Mr Kevin truly cares about his students - he comes prepared to every tutoring session, and was willing to tutor me for an hour and a half, whilst only charging me for 50 minutes. The class was also so entertaining and insightful, that being an European student, I was happy to stay up late to have a lesson with this tutor. Thank you so much for being the tutor that goes the “extra step”, and one that actively listens to the students needs. I truly couldn’t have found a better tutor- having been tutored by a handful of tutors, I can wholehearted say that this is the best of the best that you can ever encounter.

Kevin helped my son with his college application essays. We first tried a different essay coach prior to Kevin and my son did not vibe with that person at all. My son and I both appreciated Kevin's knowledgable and encouraging style as well as his efficiency and responsiveness! Kevin is not a time waster - he gets to the point, but is also willing to answer your questions and spend the time needed. Some of my son's sessions were very quick and others lasted a little longer, but he always walked away feeling encouraged and more confident. He had thoughtful and insightful feedback to help take my son take his essays to the next level, which we believe was an important element in helping my son differentiate himself among many other competitive applicants and was able to gain acceptances to many top schools, including three Ivy Leagues! I would not hesitate to give Kevin my highest recommendation and my son wholeheartedly agrees!
