I have tutored fellow students and done substitute teaching in Bangor and Old Town, Maine. I believe education is the most important tool for success. I believe with attitude, education and good work habits any student will go far. Education begins with knowing how to learn. Every student is different, but once the basics are learned any student has the potential to make learning s lifetime tool. Attitude is cultivated by small steps to success. Students are builders and attitude is the foundation. Good work habits are learned and once learned and combined with a positive mental attitude lead to success. I am living proof. I have two college degrees and numerous certificates in health care and criminal justice in addition to writing awards in radio broadcasting.

To my future students, when approaching the tutoring experience, realize that you are not alone. What you have done is to reach out and be a problem solver with the the assistance of a trained individual who cares most about your success. Follow my lead in the subjects in which I am proficient and you will succeed. This success will translate into other areas of your life. Success breeds more success. I have currently retired, but after pursuing three successful careers, I decided to give back. Tutoring is just one area. I am active in my church and also serve on the Board of the Maine Air Museum as well as editing its six time a year newsletter.
