Professionally: I have a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Political Science from Spelman College.
I’ve been an LSAT tutor since 2017 - and have helped more than 900 students conquer the LSAT. As a whole, my students have differed in pretty much every objectively discernible way: age, socioeconomic status/background, personality & temperament, education levels & history, learning styles & preferences, prior experience with the LSAT,
And yet, despite the many ways my students have differed, they share one common goal: to get a great LSAT score.
My goal as a tutor is to be the bridge that connects my student with their learning and academic goals. Ultimately, I want to be a facilitating force that engages, encourages, and inspires each of my students to become a self-directed, self-regulated learner.
Practically: I'll create an individualized study plan just for you, based on where you currently are in your LSAT exam preparations, and where you want to be. I will also provide all of the materials we’ll use during our sessions.
I typically assign homework drills to be completed between sessions s: drill sets of various questions, which are primarily be to reinforce what we’ve covered. However, I will adjust the assignments to account for your specific time obligations and availability.
Personally:I fell in love with reading when I was two years old; more than two decades later, books continue to be my greatest passion and purest joy.
"Exactness in the use of words is the basis of all serious thinking. You will get nowhere without it. Words are clumsy tools, and it is very easy to cut one's fingers with them, and they need the closest attention in handling; but they are the only tools we have, and imagination itself cannot work without them."
