Contacted Marita for our son's AP Chemistry Tutoring needs for his Junior Year in High School. Marita messaged me immediately within the hour of initial contact and helped setting up a tutoring session that would make tutoring session most efficient. She asked my to send her the topics my son was having issues with or help with specifically. I sent her the class sylabus , the AP Chem Slide Deck for the class and the most recent unit 9 my son was working on. All easily sent as attachments either via email or inside the Wyznat messaging portal. This greatly enhanced the experience as she was able to prepare for the tutor session and they got right to work on the classes most current homework assignments and concepts on the application of Thermodynamics. My son had tried another tutor elsewhere but did not connect. This time it was a hit and Marita's thoughtful study plan, great communication with parents to prepare and to sustain what is learned. We will be booking another tutoring session immediately and continue through the rest of the AP Chem course. My son said it helped him and he got right to work on real in class work that was due. Marita is a great teacher , patient and thoughtful and she knows her stuff.

Awesome Tutor for HS Chem
Marita had a great session with my high school daughter from Day 1. My daughter said she helped her understand things she was confused about and gave her helpful tips and tools to help remember and recall terms she was reversing. My daughter now feels confident for her quiz tomorrow and looks forward to her next session with Marita as well as her year ahead, knowing she will continue weekly sessions with Marita. If you're searching for a chemistry tutor, look no further. I came to Marita desperately confused, even after working with other tutors, but she soon clarified the material for me. Marita taught through examples and patiently helped me to reach the solution, until I felt confident to work them out on my own. We worked through many AP practice problems, and she was more than happy to send me photos of her work for the questions we did not get to. I was surprised to see how much time she spent outside of our lesson to find materials for me or answer my questions. Beyond teaching the material, Marita genuinely cared about my success on my test and on the AP exam, and she was willing to offer assistance in every way she could. And, because of her tremendous expertise and thoroughness, I did very well on the test. The results speak louder than my words!

Marita taught Chemistry for SAT subject test to my high school senior son. I picked her based on her introduction herself at he website. She described herself very well. She is an excellent tutor. She definitely knows subject and experienced in tutoring. She motivated my son very well, my son was looking forward to her sessions. She was messaging us through the the week, asking subjects my son wanted to cover and sending resources to supplement her tutoring. She was always on time and professional. She was patiently explaining subjects and teaching. She even prepared power points slides to teach certain subjects. I definitely recommend her for Chemistry tutoring.
