Over the past 11 years, I have taught English for 7th-12th grades and tutored students in varying capacities. In addition to working on grammar and mechanics, I have tutored students for SAT prep, college essay editing, research assignments, reading comprehension, vocabulary development and classroom confidence building.

I absolutely love working with kids and seeing them progress. I push my kids to believe that they are capable of doing so much more than they thought possible, and seeing that lightbulb go off is an incredibly rewarding experience. Kids often arrive to tutoring sessions or English classrooms with preconceived notions about grammar, reading, writing, and discussing literature, but I aim to break down those walls and help students find the fun behind it all!
