As a double major in Mathematics and Physics as an undergraduate, I continued to enjoy the connections between the two fields of study I explored as a high school student. Helping students to see the beauty in nature as they solidify their understanding is a joyous experience in itself.

The confidence students gain as the holes in their understanding are filled, gives students their own motivation to study the subject. Having students begin to ask their own questions due to their own curiosity as they explore is the objective and the grades follow as a result.

Demonstrating the applications of mathematical concepts to real world situations illuminate the need and produces other lines of questioning that lead to more learning. A cycle needed for a lifetime of learning.

With all of the recent discoveries in Physics and an understanding of what the ramifications are, draws one to envision a world of the future once discussed, and one of which one wants to help build.
