I have more than 6 years' experience in classroom experience with students from different racial and cultural backgrounds. I have a bachelors degree in Philosophy and a bachelors degree in Theology. I also have one year of graduate coursework in General Psychology. Since after graduation I have applied myself in classroom teaching religion and writing skills to 6th graders. I have subbed in different academic areas such as literature, language, history, government, social studies and special education. I have applied to ACP (alternative Certification Program) for a state license in the State of Texas.

Sequel to the above mentioned experiences, I have developed different tutoring methodology and teaching style where students are empowered and trained to become independent learners and readers at their own pace. Students are encouraged to do assignments after each lesson to evaluate the depth of their understanding in the subject matter. This methodology helps to underscore how well they understand the subject matter; whether it is necessary to progress in the lesion plan or go back to clarify the subject matter until adequate understanding on subject matter is reached. It is on these premises that teaching and learning are strengthened despite the student's level of understanding.
