I am a pre-medical student at Arizona State University majoring in neuroscience. I have taken numerous math and science courses throughout my time here and excelled in them.

I like to engage with the student while I teach them in order to gauge their understanding of the topic. If I feel they aren't understanding my explanation then I change my approach to better fit their learning style. I also utilize outside resources that I feel may be advantageous and most importantly, I communicate with my students and ask them if they need clarification on anything. I make it a priority to provide simple, easy-to-understand yet effective explanations so the student can easily learn the topic. When I feel the student has understood the material, I provide them with practice questions in order to truly test their understanding and see which areas still need improvement. I believe money should not be factor when seeking education, so I try to keep my rate low and affordable!

I worked for over two years at Mathnasium and during that time period we had kids come in with various math levels from elementary to high school. The curriculum was common core math for all the classes. I also have taken college level Calculus classes and got straight A's. I was very well versed in how to attend to my students and help them exceed.

I love working with kids and it's been a joy of mine to help them become the student and person they strive to be. I will make sure they can overcome their difficulties in their studies and make it fun for them to enjoy school.
