Working both in New York and Los Angeles, I have edited a diverse collection of projects using various softwares including Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer and Final Cut Pro. My editing credits include short and feature length documentaries including Reflection's From Ground Zero - Breaking Bread for Showtime, Women With Altitude and The Originals - Behind The Scenes, several feature films including Ricotta & Super Capers and television shows The Bold Type for Freeform and Grey’s Anatomy for ABC.

I’ve been editing for over 16 years, and have used various tools over the years from software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer to cutting on film. I’ve also taught editing and editing software at the New York Film Academy in NYC.

I’ve learned not just how to use the various types of software but how to make them work best & most efficiently for me. Learning a software inside out is time-consuming not to mention overwhelming, so to achieve your goals it's essential to focus on what you want to do with the software and then target the technical aspects you need to know to creatively edit your project.

There are a lot of tutorials out there on Adobe Premiere Pro & Avid Media Composer, but they are so generalized, that they take forever to get through to learn what you need to cut your project. As a Film & TV editor, I see Premiere & Avid as tools, not software to learn. Before we even start, we will discuss your goals then tailor our lessons to focus on the specific tools and aspects you need to know to start editing.
