Excellent & Patient Tutor

This summer I am currently taking an online Calc 2 course, and Derrick has been able to help me develop and enjoy my understandings of math. I haven't taken math in four years prior to this class since it does not align with my college major, but he has been great helping to refresh my mind with calculus, and is very patient while going through the material with me. He is very flexible in teaching lessons to align with how your teachers/professors are teaching them in class, as he is very knowledgeable when it comes to math. We have gone over lessons from reviewing the unit circle (Pre-calc) to completing trigonometric integration homework (Calc2).

My experience with Derrick thus far has been extremely helpful and resourceful. One of the best things about his teaching style is that he is able to simplify any difficult concept, and break it down part by part. He is very flexible and caters to your personal learning style. At the end of my session Derrick also provided some helpful resources I could refer to. 10/10 experience, and definitely recommend learning from him!

Awesome Help with Trig substitution

We went over the math behind trig substitutions and did a few example problems. Helped my understanding of the concepts and my ability immensely. Plus we had a fun conversation about Physics during the session.
