Bio

I have been in the animation field for numerous years now, I have a background in film and illustration. I enjoy teaching others since it is the best way for me and the student to continue learning, as this is an ongoing learning and adapting career based on current trends, technology, and artists. I have been in the animation field for numerous years now, I have a background in film and illustration. I enjoy teaching others since it is the best way for me and the student to continue learning, as this is an ongoing learning and adapting career based on current trends, technology, and artists. I have taught classes in the past, so I am no stranger to public speaking and being involved in a supportive role for my students. I majored in 2D/3D Animation studies for my associate's and bachelor's degrees. I am also in pursuit of my master's degree so that I may be able to teach at a college/university level in the future.

I also run my own production company called HB Productions, in collaboration with Kinetic House Inc., which can provide substantial field experience and professional exposure to the new and upcoming professionals of these areas as we are involved with multiple local businesses and even the Sundance Film Festivals, just to name a couple. I'm a very flexible teacher as I know we all have priorities and obligations to uphold outside the learning environment, all I ask for is common courtesies when the circumstances prevent the student from completing the required assignments and a professional demeanor.

I had a fantastic experience in Hugo's Blender animation class. Hugo is highly skilled and very patient with students. He goes out of his way to ensure everyone understands the material. He is very patience and very knowledgeable tutor. He helps me with all my questions about blender. Hugo is very well prepared with materials which you can use to put in practice what you know about Blender, and he helps me fix things that I'm messing up. His patience is important to me because I'm a slow learner I'm not very active with my learning time. He doesn't jump from a subject to a subject without making sure I understand what I'm doing. So far, I had 4 lessons with him and for sure I will have many more. Highly recommend!!!
