About Heather

Bio

I graduated cum laude from college in 2013 with a BS in Psychology and a BA in Spanish. I was also a member of my university's Honors Program and participated in its Great Books program, in which we analyzed the works that contributed to western philosophy and thought instead of taking a traditional Gen. Ed. curriculum.

I have a wide variety of teaching and tutoring experience, including: being a preceptor for 3 writing courses, being a Peer Mentor for an introductory research honors course,...

I have a wide variety of teaching and tutoring experience, including: being a preceptor for 3 writing courses, being a Peer Mentor for an introductory research honors course, tutoring Statistics and writing in my university's Academic resource center and teaching TaeKwonDo!

After graduating, I also traveled to Thailand to teach English to Thai students for a semester. I enjoy tutoring and have a thorough knowledge of a wide variety of subjects including Psychology, Spanish Language, writing and the creation of sound research projects and theses.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with concentration in Abnormal Psychology and Biopsychology. Both of those emphases offered insight into what constitutes ADD/ADHD and its effective management techniques. Also, for full time employment I perform behavior modification and management for a Developmental Facility that houses developmentally disabled clients.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mercer University and concentrated my studies in Abnormal Psychology and Biopsychology. Also, since April, 2014 I've performed behavior modification and management for a Developmental Facility that houses and trains clients whose primary diagnosis is Mental Retardation (or Intellectual/Developmental disability). Many of those clients also have comorbid diagnoses of autism or additional psychological disorders.
