I am an experienced educator with over ten years of experience working in various educational environments. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, so I am very comfortable with young children. I have experience in teaching phonics and early math skills. In addition, I also have a Master's degree in English, and I am a very good writer/proofreader. I enjoy the writing process, and especially helping others get their written work to the very best it can be.

As a teacher/tutor, I believe it is my responsibility to help the student come up with the answer on his or her own, rather than giving the answer for them. I can be patient, but I am rather straightforward. If one method of teaching isn't working, I am willing to try something else until I can find a method that will work. I believe tutoring ought to help the student be able to perform on his/her own, and to build confidence to succeed in the future.
